My furnace stopped working. They came out and gave me a detailed explanation of what was wrong and what my options were. They made me aware of rebates, discounts, local energy provider’s and federal tax credits. Very thorough. Very professional,knowledgeable, and friendly.

The entire Berken experience exceeded our expectations from the initial quote to the installation of our new furnace. Office personnel was extremely helpful. Installation techs were on time, proficiently installed the furnace and cleaned up well afterward. Jake was patient and helpful in showing us how to program and utilize the WIFI thermostat. We would feel comfortable recommending Berken to anyone.

After having three different companies look at our furnace to figure out why our old furnace kept going into system failure, Berken’s finally diagnosed the problem correctly. They recommended a new furnace as we were looking at major problems now and in the near future. Installation was done quickly and efficiently.

I hadn’t worked with Berken before, but from a furnace quote to the install, I appreciate how they do work. They provided great information to help me decide on the unit I needed. Their install team came in and was very efficient, answered any questions I had and left everything very clean. Everyone I have been in contact with at Berken (from the front office to the quote and the install) has been very professional and easy to work with.

My experience working with Berken from end-to-end was fantastic but the installation of my replacement furnace and water heater was A++ work. Installer Andy thought through every detail of the install ensuring each appliance was intentionally placed, every pipe ran straight and level, and the finished work was appealing to the eye. There was nothing sloppy about his work – not a single thing! Andy well exceeded my expectations and I will be recommending Berken to friends and family.

Wonderful new A/C condenser and coil install in the house. Arrived on time for estimate, walked me through the options, and then helped me schedule the install. A very nice office staff! Install work was done well and on time.

Our air conditioner stopped working on July 4th. Called on Wednesday morning and it was fixed within a couple of hours. Love Berken!

The tech that came to do initial maintenance was great and explained what was up with our dysfunctional unit and explained three options and what would work best for our house. After the furnace you set us up with a few years ago as well as other services you’ve provided there was no thought of asking for another quote. We had an air conditioning unit installed on 6/12/2023. The installer was here on time and worked steady and did a very good job. He also left the basement and the yard very clean. I totally recommend Berkens Heating for what ever work you may have.

Last fall I knew my AC unit was going out and needed a replacement come spring. I called Berken for an estimate and Jeff was over a week later. Someone who knows nothing about air conditioners he took the time to talk about the different types, size, and function of the air conditioner and gave me his honest recommendation. We came to an agreement rather quickly and a few weeks later we have a brand new AC unit. Looking forward to a nice cool house this summer, when days get HOT!

Called around for several quotes and settled on Berken after a pleasant interaction with Jeff Berken, along with a very competitive estimate. Jeff took the time to listen to my needs and provided an excellent hybrid heat system (gas furnace/heat pump/cased coil). Had a minor hiccup with the initial install wiring (somewhat related to the newness of this setup and lacking product documentation), but Jake came back a couple days later and spent two hours with me, ultimately making a couple minor adjustments to ensure all facets of the system worked exactly as expected. Great job standing behind your work! I look forward to years of energy savings and comfort.

Two nights ago our furnace started to make a funny sound. The next morning we woke up to no heat. Thank goodness it was not real cold. I called Berken at 6:30 in the morning and by a little after 7:00, Berken was at our house. Our inducer motor went out. Zach contacted a business in Appleton and got the part for us. Within 2 hours we had heat again. Our furnace is 10 years old, and he did not even try to sell us another one, he knew he could fix it and he did. Thank you, Zach. We have been with Berken since 2019 after having an issue with a different heating company. Lonnie has tuned up our furnace ever since then. The people that work for Berken are very professional and do a great job. I have already recommended them to friends. They will always be our go to company for heating and cooling.

He was able to get to my house within the hour and place a temporary part, until a new part could be ordered. And thankfully the part came in this week, and Zach was able to efficiently install. 12/15/2010. My 30+ year old furnace had enough and quit. Of course it was a brutally cold day and I called 4 different heating companies… Berken was the ONLY ONE to understand my plight and sent someone right away. Having 2 kids ages 2 and 4, waiting days for a replacement was not an option for my family. They did a fantastic job removing the old and installing the new. Quite impressive watching the tech call out measurements over the phone to have the tin bent to shape and seeing it come in at perfect fits. Fast forward 12 years and the heat exchanger and inducer motor was failing. Called Berken and had Zach out to my house. He was great, knowledgeable and very helpful. 2 days later, Zach was back at my house and installed the parts. It took him a little under 2 hours and my furnace was like new again. We had our annual preventative maintenance and the service person discovered an issue. The service person gave us several options. Since the furnace was 20 years old, we decided to buy a new one. Jeff Berken gave us several options and the install was scheduled for the next day. We were impressed with the level of professionalism by the service person, the install team and with Jeff Berken. Great customer service with many options and no pressure.

We had a service person come and look at our furnace because we were experiencing a problem. He found the problem, and the furnace was in bad shape. So, we ordered a new one they came and removed the old one installed the new. They did a good job and cleaned up everything. Very happy with them!!

Unfortunately, on one of the hottest days this August our AC decided not to work. We have had it serviced in the previous years.
We were told that we may be on our last season with this AC. They worked on it and we got one more year. This year again it stopped working. Our service man gave us our options and we decided to get a new one.
Our installers were wonderful and very kind. They even put up with my excited puppy when they were coming in and out of the house. Thank you Berken for your rapid response and for your customer service.

We come from a small town where we were well acquainted with our Furnace and A/C provider. Ever since we moved to the Fox Valley we have had Berken service our heating and cooling equipment and have experienced the same level of satisfaction in personal service that we received from our friends at home.
