We have been using Berken Heating and Cooling to service and maintain the HVAC units for many years. The day finally came when we needed to replace our 26 year old A/C units on both sides of our duplex. We were provided a quotations for replacement that gave us different mfg options. We chose a mid level Bryant A/C unit for “both” sides of the duplex. We set a date for installation (10/30/24), they arrived on time to begin the work. They stayed focused on completing the installation and completed the work by early afternoon of that day. They were professional, courteous and left no mess. The old A/C units were hauled away as part of the work. We are now ready for next year’s cooling season.

They were able to answer all our questions. They were prompt. The technician who came to troubleshoot our furnace was just the greatest; very kind and helpful. He showed us how to keep our furnace heating until the new furnace could be replaced. They throughly explain the process and our choices for the furnace replacement and helped us get the best deal and some rebates to boot! Highly recommend using Berken.

Berken came and installed our new air conditioner only a couple of days after we signed the contract. They came to do the installation on time. It was installed and everything cleaned up in one morning. They put in a new thermostat and patiently explained how it worked. We are happy with the service we received.

Service Tech that was here earlier in the week to diagnose the problem with my old furnace did a great job of showing me the issue with my 22 year old furnace.

This is the fourth unit I have gotten from them.two furnaces and two AC units. I have been with them a long time. They give an accurate time when they will come. They also gave me an accurate estimate of repair cost compared to replacement cost. They took the time to explain the pros and cons of each so I could make a good decision. They never seem rushed and are willing to answer all my questions.

My husband and I have been working with Berken for replacement parts for our old furnace for years. They were always very helpful getting the parts necessary to keep it running a little longer. When we finally decided to replace both our furnace and AC (37 & 36 years old) due to age, Berken was the first company my husband insisted on working with!
Jeff came out and sat down and showed us our options. He went over everything very thoroughly and answered all our questions. Of course, more questions came up when he left the house and he returned our phone call very quickly and patiently answered even more questions!
When we were ready, we set up our appointment with them. Scott & Dillon were on time and wonderful to work with as well. They explained things to us as they went along and answered all of our questions about our new furnace and AC. They took out the old units and put the new units in their place and cleaned everything up. You would have never known they were there! Extremely respectful of our property. We have had Berken Heating & Cooling for years and have always been very satisfied with their service. Just had a new Air Conditioner installed. The technician explained why we would need to replace our old one, even offered to show me on the AC just what was wrong so I would understand the problem. That wasn’t necessary as I trusted him, but I appreciated the offer. The technician who installed the new unite was just as informative explaining whatever I needed to know about the new unit. I definitely recommend them!

I just had Berken install central air through my attic in my house that has boiler heating. I figured I’d have to do multiple mini-splits to cool my home but the central air is up and running and I have cooling to my entire upstairs. Very happy with the service provided and all my interactions with Berken have been a pleasure.

I hadn’t worked with Berken before, but from a furnace quote to the install, I appreciate how they do work. They provided great information to help me decide on the unit I needed. Their install team came in and was very efficient, answered any questions I had and left everything very clean. My experience working with Berken from end-to-end was fantastic but the installation of my replacement furnace and water heater was A++ work. Installer Andy thought through every detail of the install ensuring each appliance was intentionally placed, every pipe ran straight and level, and the finished work was appealing to the eye. The tech that came to do initial maintenance was great and explained what was up with our dysfunctional unit and explained three options and what would work best for our house. We had an air conditioning unit installed on 6/12/2023. The installer was here on time and worked steady and did a very good job. He also left the basement and the yard very clean. I totally recommend Berkens Heating for what ever work you may have.

Called around for several quotes and settled on Berken after a pleasant interaction with Jeff Berken, along with a very competitive estimate. Jeff took the time to listen to my needs and provided an excellent hybrid heat system (gas furnace/heat pump/cased coil). Had a minor hiccup with the initial install wiring (somewhat related to the newness of this setup and lacking product documentation), but Jake came back a couple days later and spent two hours with me, ultimately making a couple minor adjustments to ensure all facets of the system worked exactly as expected. Great job standing behind your work! I look forward to years of energy savings and comfort.

Two nights ago our furnace started to make a funny sound. The next morning we woke up to no heat. Thank goodness it was not real cold. I called Berken at 6:30 in the morning and by a little after 7:00, Berken was at our house. Our inducer motor went out. Zach contacted a business in Appleton and got the part for us. Within 2 hours we had heat again. Our furnace is 10 years old, and he did not even try to sell us another one, he knew he could fix it and he did. Thank you, Zach. We have been with Berken since 2019 after having an issue with a different heating company. Lonnie has tuned up our furnace ever since then. The people that work for Berken are very professional and do a great job. I have already recommended them to friends. They will always be our go to company for heating and cooling.
